This year, the goal is to engage 25,000 youth from all across Ontario in local events and activities for a minimum of 3 hours of volunteering. We’ve got a lot ahead of us, but Ontario youth don’t shy away from a challenge.

Simon, a grade 11 student in 2010 at Blakelock High School in Oakville, loves volunteering! He has parlayed his unusual talent for juggling into a dynamic show called STOP (Simon's Tour of Positivity). Simon has performed more than seventy STOP shows at a variety of non-profit organizations. As co-president of Teens Organizing Local Entertainment for Seniors (TOLES), Simon is dedicated to bridging the generation gap. To date, TOLES has performed sixty variety shows at local seniors’ residences.
Simon combines philanthropy and environmentalism through his Life Cycle initiative, fixing used bikes and donating them to needy people, both locally and in developing countries. He is Chair of the Mayor's Oakville Youth Advisory Committee and president of Blakelock High School's Interact Club. Last August, Simon volunteered as a member of the 2010 Rogers Cup Ball Crew earning the "Rookie of the Year" award.
