Daffodil Month Volunteers Urgently Needed! This April, by volunteering just a few hours of your time in support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Month campaign, local residents can save lives and help people who are living with cancer.
Volunteers are needed to sell daffodil pins for a donation at various retail locations throughout Halton including Food Basics, Fortino’s, LCBO’s, Metro, and Sobeys. We need volunteers from Thursday, March 30 to Sunday, April 2 and from Thursday, April 6 to Sunday, April 9 for 2 and 3 hour shifts. We encourage you to sign up for several shifts and to ask your friends and family to volunteer.
Money raised during Daffodil Month helps local patients and their families living with more than 100 different types of cancer. With these donations, the Canadian Cancer Society funds life-saving research and support services, as well as other important work, so that that fewer Canadians are affected by cancer.
Volunteers are essential to the success of the Daffodil Month campaign! Adult volunteers are needed as site managers to help deliver and pick up supplies for our onsite volunteers.
