The Volunteer Recognition Breakfast has been a vision of Volunteer Halton for a number of years. Last year with the support of the Region of Halton, the first Volunteer Recognition Breakfast was held at the Regional auditorium, where Community Volunteer award and Cheers to Volunteers award recipients were able to convene in one location and network while being honoured publicly.
Both awards are being presented by Volunteer Halton at the Volunteer Recognition Breakfast to celebrate National Volunteer Week (April 10th to 16th, 2011) which was held at The Holiday Inn Oakville Centre on Monday, April 11, 2011.
